| New discoveries today included two Cackling Geese at Balranald, Western Isles, a Ferruginous Duck at Heathrow, London, a Black Kite at Llyn Penryn, Anglesey and Alpine Swifts at Selsey, Sussex, Marazion, Cornwall and Sheep's Head, County Cork.
Lingering rarities included the Alpine Accentor and Booted Eagle in Cornwall, American Coot in Shetland, Least Sandpiper in Sussex, Long-billed Dowitcher and Black Kite in Devon, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Lesser Scaups in Somerset and Gloucestershire and Western Subalpine Warbler in County Cork. |
