  Lingering rarities today comprised the Booted Eagle still in Cornwall, American Coot and Ross's Goose in Shetland, American Pipit in Northumberland, Least Sandpiper and Kentish Plover in Somerset, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Red-breasted Geese in Argyll and Cumbria, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Black Duck in County Mayo, Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Mayo(2) and Argyll, and Lesser Scaups in Derbyshire and Dorset.
