  Today's new rarities included nine White-billed Divers off Papa Westray, Orkney, two more at South Nesting Bay, Shetland. Two Lesser Scaups at Abberton, Essex, another at Letterkenny, County Donegal, as well as one at Lough Neagh, County Armagh.

Lingering rarities included the American Pipit in Northumberland, Desert Wheatear in Carmarthenshire, Canvasback in Essex, American Coot in Shetland, Least Sandpiper in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and County Cork, Lesser Scaups in County Wexford and County Clare, Ferruginous Ducks in Lincolnshire, and White-billed Diver in Northumberland.
