| The highlight of the day was a Pacific Diver reported in County Roscommon at Cavetown Lough.
Rarities elsewhere comprised the Ross's Gull still commuting between County Durham and Northumberland, Grey-headed Lapwing and White-billed Diver both still in Northumberland, Scops Owl again on show in Kent, American Coot still in Shetland, Least Sandpiper and Kentish Plover in Somerset, White-winged Scoter in County Kerry, Penduline Tit in Cheshire, Pallid Harriers in both County Cork and Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, and Ferruginous Ducks in Hertfordshire, London, and Warwickshire. |
