| The highlight of the day was the discovery of an adult male Bufflehead on the Shetland Isles on Foula whilst a Ferruginous Duck was new in Hertfordshire at West Hyde, and a White-billed Diver passed Kinnaird Head, Aberdeenshire.
Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Northern Harrier in County Cork, White-winged Scoter in Angus, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Eastern Stonechat species in Lincolnshire, Dusky Warbler on the Isles of Scilly, Pallid Harriers in County Cork and Pembrokeshire, Bonaparte's Gull and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull both in Cornwall, White-rumped Sandpipers in Pembrokeshire, County Londonderry and County Wexford (2), Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, and Lesser Scaups in Cambridgeshire, County Donegal, Fife, Kinross, Staffordshire, and County Wexford. |
