| Rarities consisted of late news of an Oriental Turtle Dove at Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, Northumberland. On Scilly a Blyth's Pipit was found on St Agnes, and a Dusky Warbler was found on St Mary's at Porth Hellick. The other rarity found was a Pallid Swift on Lundy, Devon.
Lingering rarities included the Northern Harrier and Pallid Harrier in County Cork, another Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, and another Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Eastern Stonechat species in Lincolnshire, White-winged Scoter in Angus, Lesser Scaups in Cambridgeshire, Devon, Staffordshire, County Kerry, County Wexford, and Fife, Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford and Pembrokeshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in Pembrokeshire and County Donegal, and Spotted Sandpiper in Fife. |
