| Discoveries today included a Pallid Harrier in County Cork at Ballyvergan Marsh where it joined a Northern Harrier, an Eastern Stonechat species in Lincolnshire at Gibraltar Point, and in Pembrokeshire a White-rumped Sandpiper at Newport.
Continuing rarities comprised the White-winged Scoter still in Lothian, Pied Wheatear in East Sussex, Penduline Tit in Cheshire, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon and Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Clare, Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Cornwall, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, and Lesser Scaups in County Armagh, Cambridgeshire, Fife and Staffordshire. In Wiltshire the Hooded Merganser remained but was proved to be an escape. |
