| The highlight of the day was an Eastern Stonechat species in Suffolk at Trimley Marshes whilst elsewhere a Lesser Scaup was new in Fife at Dalgety Bay, White-billed Diver on the Shetland Isles on Fetlar, and White-rumped Sandpipers in County Donegal at Lough Swilly (3) and Western Isles on South Uist.
Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Canvasback in Essex, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, White-winged Scoters in Angus and Lothian, Desert Wheatear in East Sussex, Pallid Harriers in Devon and Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitchers in Norfolk, Orkney Isles, and County Wexford, White-rumped Sandpipers in Devon, County Londonderry, and Pembrokeshire, Lesser Yellowlegs on the Isles of Scilly and Wiltshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Highland, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, and Ferruginous Ducks in London and Warwickshire. |
