| New discoveries today included late news of a Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland off Inner Farne, two White-rumped Sandpipers at Lough Bed in County Derry, Richardson's Cackling Goose at Cross Lough in County Mayo, White-winged Scoter at Inch in County Kerry, Red-flanked Bluetail on St.Mary's, Scilly, Red-rumped Swallow at Spurn in East Yorkshire, and Long-billed Dowitcher at Purfleet in London.
Lingering rarities including the Red-flanked Bluetail and Radde's Warbler in Scilly, Desert Wheatear in Sussex, Dusky Warblers in County Wexford, Cork, and Shetland, White-winged Scoter in Angus, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in London, Devon, Norfolk, and Orkney, Lesser Yellowlegs in Wiltshire and Scilly, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and Pembrokeshire, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Blue-winged Teal in County Wexford, and Black Duck in County Mayo. |
