  Five White-rumped Sandpipers were found at Loch Paible, Western Isles, with another at Budle Bay, Northumberland and a Red-rumped Swallow flew past Long Nab, Yorkshire.

Lingering rarities included the Black-faced Bunting in Orkney, American Pipit and Dusky Warbler in Shetland, further Dusky Warblers in County Cork and County Wexford, Radde's Warbler in Scilly, Desert Wheatear in Sussex, Red-flanked Bluetail in Yorkshire, White-winged Scoter in Angus, Black Duck in County Mayo, Lesser Scaups in County Wexford (two) and Staffordshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Scilly and Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitchers in County Wexford and Norfolk, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife and Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim.
