  The highlight of the day was an American Robin at North Ronaldsay, Orkney, Olive-backed Pipit at Loch of Hillwell in Shetland, Dusky Warblers at Brownstown Head, County Waterford, and at Bempton Cliffs, East Yorkshire, Cackling Goose at Loch Gruinart, Argyll, Eastern Stonechat at Porthgwarra in Cornwall, Red-flanked Bluetail at Bempton Cliffs, East Yorkshire, and Radde's Warbler at Spurn also in East Yorkshire,

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were Blyth's Pipit and Lesser Yellowlegs on the Isles of Scilly, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Iberian Chiffchaff and Dusky Warbler in County Cork, Pallid Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Eastern Stonechat in Northumberland, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, and Canvasback in Essex.
