| The highlight of the day was a Brunnich's Guillemot passing Fair Isle, Shetland Isles, and in Norfolk the Long-billed Dowitcher returned to Cley, Norfolk for a third winter.
Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were Blyth's Pipit and Lesser Yellowlegs on the Isles of Scilly, Little Crake and Pallid Harrier in Pembrokeshire, White-winged Scoter and Greenish Warbler both on Shetland, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Iberian Chiffchaff and Dusky Warbler in County Cork, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Eastern Stonechat species in Northumberland, Long-billed Dowitcher on the Orkney Isles, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire. |
