  New discoveries today included a Lanceolated Warbler at Norwick, Unst, Shetland (where it joined yesterday's Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler), a Booted Warbler on North Ronaldsay, Orkney, a Radde's Warbler at Saltfleetby, Lincolnshire, a Red-flanked Bluetail at Flamborough, Yorkshire, an Olive-backed Pipit at Corton, Suffolk and an Eastern Stonechat species at Cromer, Norfolk.

Lingering rarities included the Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler in Orkney, Lanceolated Warbler in Shetland, Isabelline Shrike species, Arctic Warbler, Dusky Warbler and Olive-backed Pipit in Yorkshire, Eastern Stonechats in Cleveland and Northumberland, Canvasback in Essex, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Lesser Yellowlegs in Gloucestershire, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk.
