  New discoveries today included Radde's Warblers on the Isle of May, Fife, and in Norfolk at Holkham, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Downpatrick, County Down, a Isabelline Shrike, Black-headed Bunting, Coues's Redpoll, Eastern Yellow Wagtail, and Arctic Warbler at Fair Isle, Shetland, a Blyth's Reed Warbler on Blakeney Point, Norfolk, a Crag Martin at St.Catherine's Point on Isle of Wight, and a Bonaparte's Gull at Carne, County Wexford.

Lingering rarities included the Pale-legged Leaf Warbler, Arctic Warbler and Pallid Harrier in Yorkshire, Baird's Sandpiper in County Donegal, Brown Shrikes in both Orkney and Shetland, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford, Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Black-winged Stilt in Devon, Forster's Tern in Dorset, and Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire.
