  A Long-billed Dowitcher was discovered at Normandy Marsh, Hampshire.

Lingering rarities included the Yellow-crowned Night Heron in County Mayo, Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Black-winged Pratincole on the Nottinghamshire /South Yorkshire border, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Least Tern in County Dublin, Forster's Tern in County Louth, Red-footed Falcon in Suffolk and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.
