  Highlights today consisted of an Indigo Bunting in County Durham at Whitburn, Thrush Nightingale in Norfolk on Blakeney Point, Little Bittern in Shetland at Loch of Brow, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Cork at Harper's Island, Pallid Harrier near Scarborough in North Yorkshire.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Savi's Warbler on territory in Leicestershire, Cleveland, and East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Goose and Black-winged Stilt in Lincolnshire, Red-footed Falcon in Kent, Double-crested Cormorant in County Sligo, Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, and American Black Tern in Northumberland.
