  Highlights today consisted of an Red-rumped Swallow and Alpine Swift in Cornwall at Porthgwarra, two Great Reed Warblers, one in Nottinghamshire at Idle Valley NR, the other in North Yorkshire at Staveley YWT, another Red-rumped Swallow was found in Lothian at Aberlady Bay, and a Savi's Warbler in Cleveland at Saltholme RSPB.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Savi's Warbler on territory in Leicestershire, and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire at Napton Reservoir
