  New discoveries today included an Eastern Subalpine Warbler at Porth Hellick, Scilly, an unidentified Subalpine Warbler species at Blakeney, Norfolk, Red-throated Pipits at Hartlepool, Cleveland and on North Ronaldsay, Orkney, a Red-rumped Swallow at South Foreland, Kent, a Gull-billed Tern at Cahore, County Wexford and a White-billed Diver off Sandwick, Shetland.

Lingering rarities included the Savi's Warblers in Leicestershire and County Louth, Lesser Yellowlegs in Yorkshire, Black-winged Stilt in Lincolnshire, Ferruginous Duck in Gloucestershire, Red-breasted Geese in Norfolk and Lincolnshire, Pacific Diver in County Cork and White-billed Diver in Moray.
