  New discoveries today included a Ferruginous Duck at Hickling, Norfolk and a Bonaparte's Gull at South Slob, County Wexford.

Lingering rarities still present included the Slate-coloured Junco in Cleveland, Savi's Warbler in Yorkshire, Red-rumped Swallow in Kent, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Marsh Sandpiper in Hampshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in Sussex and Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Louth, Lesser Yellowlegs, Black-winged Stilt and Red-breasted Goose in Lincolnshire, Black Kite in Scilly and two White-billed Divers in Moray.
