  New discoveries today included a Black-winged Stilt at Frampton Marsh RSPB, Lincolnshire, a Red-breasted Goose at Callernish, Western Isles, a Lesser Scaup at Dunham Massey Park, Greater Manchester and a White-billed Diver off Burghead, Moray.

Lingering rarities still present included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Bonaparte's Gull in Carmarthenshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in Norfolk and Orkney, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, Lesser Scaups in Glamorgan and Clyde, two Ferruginous Ducks in Cheshire and one in Warwickshire, four White-billed Divers in Aberdeenshire and Pallid Harriers in Scilly and Glamorgan.
