  A Slate-coloured Junco was found in Dorset at Gillingham, Alpine Swift in Somerset at Sea Mills, Pallid Harrier on Scilly at St Martins, five White-billed Divers in Moray at Cullen, and Ferruginous Duck in Kent at Whetsted.

Lingering rarities included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Bufflehead in Perth and Kinross, Ferruginous Ducks in Somerset, and Cheshire (two), Lesser Scaups in Essex, Cheshire, Clyde, and Glamorgan, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, and Forster's Tern in Dorset.
