| A total of three White-winged Scoters have now been identified at Brandon Bay in County Kerry, a drake Lesser Scaup was confirmed at Cardiff Bay Wetlands in Glamorgan, an Alpine Swift flew over Palm Bay at Margate in east Kent, a Black Kite was seen over Hampstead in London and at Portsoy, Aberdeenshire, the total of White-billed Divers rose to eight.
Lingering rarities included the Red-flanked Bluetail on Fair Isle, Shetland, the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, the Forster's Tern in Dorset, the Bufflehead in Kinross, the Pacific Diver in County Cork, the Pallid Harrier in Carmarthenshire, Coue's Arctic Redpoll, Red-breasted Goose and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk with other Long-billed Dowitchers in County Wicklow and County Wexford, two Lesser Scaups in Cumbria, two Ferrugninous Ducks in Cheshire and Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and County Louth. |
