  The star find today was a Sociable Lapwing in Cornwall at Ruan Lanihorne on the Fal Estuary, a Red-breasted Goose was found in Norfolk at King's Lynn, Double-crested Cormorant in County Wexford at Slade, White-billed Diver on Shetland at Unst off Skaw.

Continuing rarities today comprised the Black Scoter and three Red-breasted Geese in Norfolk(2) and Northumberland, Baikal Teal in Somerset, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk, Glamorgan, and Pembrokeshire, Ferruginous Ducks in Warwickshire and Hampshire, six Lesser Scaup Devon(5) and Pembrokeshire, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire.
