  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Black Scoter in Norfolk in Holkham Bay whilst both Red-breasted Goose and Pallid Harrier remained nearby.

Elsewhere rarities comprised the Canvasback still in Essex, Black-throated Thrush still in East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland, Pallid Harrier between Carmarthenshire and Glamorgan, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, King Eider in Lothian, Lesser Yellowlegs in both Lincolnshire and County Louth, and Ferruginous Ducks in Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire.
