  A Cackling Goose was found in County Clare at Doonbeg, a Ferruginous Ducks in both Cambridgeshire at Fen Drayton Lakes, and Warwickshire at Warwick Racecourse, and a new King Eider in Lothian at Port Seton.

Lingering rarities still present included a Long-billed Dowitcher in Sussex, Canvasback in Essex, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk, Carmarthenshire/Glamorgan and Pembrokeshire, Ferruginous Duck in Nottinghamshire, Lesser Scaup in Pembrokeshire and Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland.
