| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Penduline Tit in Kent at Oare Marshes.
Elsewhere lingering rarities comprised the Canvasback still in Essex, both Baikal Teal and Kentish Plover in Somerset, Black-throated Thrush in East Yorkshire, Pallid Harrier and Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Ferruginous Duck in Nottinghamshire, and Lesser Scaups in Pembrokeshire, Somerset, and the Western Isles. |
