| Two first-winter Bonaparte's Gulls were confirmed as present in Cornwall today, one at Hayle this morning before joining the other at Marazion briefly at midday.
Other lingering rarities still present included the Black-throated Thrush in Yorkshire, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Canvasback in Essex, Baikal Teal in Somerset, Lesser Scaups in Devon (five), Somerset and Pembrokeshire, Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Nottinghamshire, Red-breasted Geese in Essex and Norfolk, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and Carmarthenshire/Glamorgan, Long-billed Dowitcher in Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk and Lincolnshire and Kentish Plover in Somerset. |
