  A Hume's Warbler was discovered on Fetlar, Shetland, also on Shetland, an Olive-backed Pipit was found at Mulla on the Mainland.

Lingering rarities included the Cape May Warbler in Scilly, Canvasback in Essex, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Waterford, Kentish Plover in Somerset, White-rumped Sandpiper in Gloucestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and Pallid Harrier and Pallid Swift in Norfolk.
