| In Yorkshire, the identity of the Red-headed Bunting at Flamborough was confirmed, with it remaining present all day.
New discoveries today included a Pied Wheatear at Lowestoft, Suffolk, a Coues's Arctic Redpoll at Vidlin, Shetland, an Olive-backed Pipit on Holy Island, Northumberland, a Red-throated Pipit at Porthloo, Scilly, a Dusky Warbler at Freswick, Highland, a Pallid Swift over Minsmere, Suffolk, single Pallid Harriers at Stone Creek, Yorkshire and Loch Heilen, Highland, a Long-billed Dowitcher at Walmsley Sanctuary, Cornwall, a Baird's Sandpiper and a White-rumped Sandpiper at Harper's Island, County Cork, a Bonaparte's Gull at Morning Point, Scilly and a White-billed Diver off Port Seton, Lothian. Other lingering rarities still present included the Yellow Warbler in Shetland, Black-and-white Warbler in County Galway, Red-footed Booby in Scilly, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Squacco Heron in Somerset, single Lesser Yellowlegs' in Lincolnshire and Cumbria, single Long-billed Dowitchers in Sussex, Norfolk and County Cork, Baird's Sandpiper in County Cork, Blue-winged Teal in Yorkshire, Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Cornwall, Red-flanked Bluetail and Eastern Stonechat species in Yorkshire and Pallid Swift in Kent. |
