Discoveries today included in East Yorkshire at Radde's Warbler at Flamborough Head and a Red-flanked Bluetail at Kilnsea, a Black Kite in Somerset at Blean, and a Ferruginous Duck in Worcestershire at Clifton.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Yellow Warbler and Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll on the Shetland Isles, the Black-and-white Warbler in County Galway, Lesser Grey Shrike in Argyll, Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland, Semipalmated Sandpipers in both County Dublin and Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in Norfolk and East Sussex, and Lesser Yellowlegs in County Donegal, Essex, and Lincolnshire.

On the Isles of Scilly three Little Buntings were located on St Mary's with around the islands Red-backed Shrike, Lapland Bunting, Sabine's Gull, theee Yellow-browed Warblers, and four Cory's Shearwaters.
