  In Kent, a Solitary Sandpiper was photographed at Stodmarsh NNR, a Harlequin Duck was in Orkney flew past North Ronaldsay. On the Isle of Wight a Brown Booby was spotted off Chale, Richardson's Cackling Geese were found in both Lincolnshire, at East Halton Marshes and in the Western Isles, at Vallay Island. On Scilly an Olive-backed Pipit on St Agnes at the campsite, and Red-throated Pipits were seen in Sussex, one flew over Beachy Head, and in East Yorkshire, one flew over Paull. In Ireland a Semipalmated Sandpiper was seen in County Dublin at Sandymount, and a Lesser Yellowlegs in County Donegal at Inch Island Lake.

Lingering rarities included the Yellow Warbler, Eastern Stonechat species in Shetland, Black-and-white Warbler in County Galway, Lesser Grey Shrike in Argyll, Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs and Semipalmated Sandpiper in Yorkshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Pallid Harrier in Kent, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Squacco Heron in Somerset and two Blue-winged Teals still in Yorkshire.
