The highlight today was once again the mobile Black-winged Kite which was discovered in Suffolk at Felixstowe Ferry.

Discoveries today included a Caspian Tern in County Cork at The Gearagh, two Bee-eaters flew over Polgigga at Cornwall, nine Wilson's Petrels from pelagics off County Cork and Cornwall, late news today was two Bee-eaters that made a failed breeding attempt at an undisclosed site in Greater Manchester.

Rarities elsewhere included the Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Norfolk, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal 16 Black-winged Stilts in Lincolnshire (10) and South Yorkshire (6), 3 Bee-eaters and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk.

Scarcity highlights included six Roseate Terns, three Balearic Shearwaters, two Pectoral Sandpipers, Melodious Warbler, Honey Buzzard, Sabine's Gull, Ring-necked Duck, four Night Herons, and 52 Cory's Shearwaters.
