The highlight today was once again the re-emergance of the mobile Black-winged Kite in the Norfolk Broads, lingering around Horsey late morning as well as at the end of the day

Discoveries today included an Alpine Swift in Cornwall at Pendeen, and the brief appearance of a Caspian Tern in Norfolk at Horsey.

Rarities elsewhere included the Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Norfolk, Pacific Golden Plover in County Cork, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal seven Black-winged Stilts in Kent (6) and Gloustershire (1), Orange-billed Tern sp in Devon, three Bee-Eaters in Norfolk, and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk.

Scarcity highlights included five Roseate Terns, four Balearic Shearwaters, Pectoral Sandpiper, Great Shearwater, American Golden Plover, two Honey Buzzards, two Ring-necked Ducks, Red-backed Shrike, two Rose-coloured Starlings, and 20 Cory's Shearwaters.
