  An adult Franklin's Gull was discovered at Holland Haven Country Park, Essex mid morning, and a Blyth's Reed Warbler was at Mossbank, Mainland, Shetland.

Lingering rarities included the Least Tern in County Dublin, Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire (six) and Yorkshire (two), three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Savi's Warbler in Cleveland, King Eider in Aberdeenshire and White-billed Diver in Highland.

Scarcity highlights included a White-spotted Bluethroat, a Golden Oriole, a Common Rosefinch, two Marsh Warblers, an American Golden Plover, two Pectoral Sandpipers, a Surf Scoter, a Glossy Ibis, two Night Herons, two Purple Herons, four Honey Buzzards, a Great Shearwater, two Pomarine Skuas, a Sabine's Gull and a Glaucous Gull.
