Discoveries today included a Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford at Lady's Island Lake, and Blyth's Reed Warblers on the Shetland Isles on Fair Isle and in Suffolk at Landguard.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Least Tern in County Louth, Great Reed Warblers singing in Cleveland and the Orkney Isles, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, eight together Bee-eaters in Norfolk, and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Norfolk (2), and South Yorkshire (2).

Scarcities included White-winged Black Tern (Norfolk), White-spotted Bluethroat (Gloucestershire), Woodchat Shrike (Shetland), Common Rosefinch (Cumbria), Rose-coloured Starling (Nottinghamshire), Purple Heron (Suffolk), Long-tailed Skua (Ayrshire), two Icterine Warblers, six Night Herons, and nine Marsh Warblers.
