New discoveries today consisted of the confirmation of a Gull-billed Tern in Devon, a Tawny Pipit in Scilly, three White-billed Divers in Moray, and a Bonaparte's Gull in Devon.

Existing rarities today comprised the Ross's Gull in Aberdeenshire, two Long-billed Dowitchers in Norfolk and Cheshire respectively, two Lesser Scaup in Somerset and Oxfordshire respectively, Lesser Yellowlegs in Devon, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Suffolk, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Hume's Warbler in Kent, and American Herring Gull in Highland. The Black-winged Stilt influx gathered pace with 22 logged today across five counties comprising eight in Britain and 14 in Ireland.

Scarcities included nine Night Herons, three Serins, two Shorelarks, Montagu's Harrier, four Purple Herons, Great Grey Shrike, three Hoopoe, 10 Glossy Ibises, five Iceland Gulls, Glaucous Gull, Richard's Pipit, Lapland Bunting, Rough-legged Buzzard, four Surf Scoters, three Woodchat Shrikes, Green-winged Teal, Black Brant, two Tundra Bean Geese, and 15 Ring-necked Ducks.
