There was late news this morning of an Isabelline Wheatear in Cornwall found yesterday, this bird is still present today. A Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll was discovered in County Mayo. Lingering rarities still present were the Harlequin Duck in Western Isles, Penduline Tit, Hume's Warbler, and Kentish Plover in Somerset, Baikal Teal in Nottinghamshire, White-winged Scoter, Black Duck, and Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Mayo, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, and 3 Penduline Tits in County Cork. Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler, Sabine's Gull, Black Brant, Kumlien's Gull, two each of both American Wigeon and Great Grey Shrike, three Yellow-browed Warblers, 11 Ring-necked Ducks, 17 Shorelarks, eight Iceland Gulls, six Glaucous Gulls, Pomarine Skua, Pomarine Skua, two Tundra Bean Geese, Rosefinch, Lady Amherst's Pheasant, two Lapland Buntings, four Green-winged Teals, six Little Auks, three Surf Scoters, Pomarine Skua, Todd's Canada Goose and a total of 41 Waxwings. |
