  Lingering rarities seen today included the White-throated Sparrow in Northwich, Cheshire, Olive-backed Pipit in Exmouth, Devon, Dusky Warbler in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, Greater Yellowlegs at Lismore, County Waterford, Lesser Scaup at Kinghorn, Fife, King Eider at Redcar, Cleveland and Richardson's Cackling Goose at Campbeltown, Argyll.

Scarcity highlights included nine Shorelarks, 129 Waxwings, three Rough-legged Buzzards, four Glossy Ibises, a Green-winged Teal, three American Wigeon, four Ring-necked Ducks, a Tundra Bean Goose, 70 Taiga Bean Geese, a Todd's Canada Goose, eight Little Auks, a Pomarine Skua, a Ring-billed Gull and a Glaucous Gull.
