Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, both Wilson's Snipe and Dusky Warbler on the Isles of Scilly, Pied Wheatear, Black Scoter and Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland, Pallid Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Red-throated Pipit and Dusky Warbler on Shetland, two Red-rumped Swallows together in Kent, Lesser Yellowlegs in Aberdeenshire, and White-rumped Sandpiper on the Western Isles. Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (Argyll), Common Rosefinch (Dumfries and Galloway), Wryneck (East Sussex), American Wigeon (Lincolnshire), Green-winged Teal (Norfolk), two Lapland Buntings, three Ring-necked Ducks, four Long-tailed Skuas, five each of both Sabine's Gull and Shorelark, 11 Glossy Ibises, 15 Great Shearwaters, and a total of 41 Waxwings. |

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Wilson's Snipe and Dusky Warbler on the Isles of Scilly, Isabelline Wheatear in Gwynedd, Pied Wheatear and Black Scoter in Northumberland, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, two Olive-backed Pipits on Shetland, two Red-rumped Swallows together in Kent, Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll on the Orkney Isles, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, and White-rumped Sandpper on the Western Isles. Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Fife), Common Rosefinch (Dorset), Wryneck (East Sussex), Pectoral Sandpiper (Nottinghamshire), Kumlien's Gull (Cornwall), two each of American Wigeon, Sabine's Gull, and Glossy Ibis, three of Long-tailed Skua, Ring-necked Duck, Green-winged Teal, and Lapland Bunting, eight Shorelarks, 24 Waxwings, and a total of 490 Great Shearwaters. |

Discoveries today included a Pallid Harrier in Argyll on Islay, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Cornwall at Nanjizal, Dusky Warbler on the Shetland Isles at Quendale, and in Northumberland Bonaparte's Gull and Pallid Swift together at Bamburgh. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were Wilson's Snipe and Dusky Warbler on the Isles of Scilly, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Isabelline Wheatear in Gwynedd, Pied Wheatear and Black Scoter in Northumberland, Eastern Stonechat species and two Red-rumped Swallows in Kent, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll on the Orkney Isles, Olive-backed Pipit on the Shetland Isles, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, and a Cackling Goose on the Western Isles. Scarcities included Red-necked Phalarope (Devon), Green-winged Teal (Moray), Glossy Ibis (Berkshire), two each of Sabine's Gull, Great Grey Shrike, and Lapland Bunting, four American Wigeons, seven Shorelarks, 10 Ring-necked Ducks, 56 Waxwings, and in Cornwall seawatchers logged 786 Great Shearwaters. |

| New discoveries today included Eastern Stonechats at Dungeness, Kent and Blakeney, Norfolk, a Dusky Warbler at Nanjizal, Cornwall and two Red-rumped Swallows at Foreness Point, Kent.
Lingering rarities still present included the Pied Wheatear in Northumberland, Isabelline Wheatears in Gwynedd and County Cork, Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Suffolk, Olive-backed Pipit and Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll in Shetland, Wilson's Snipe in Scilly, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset, White-wumped Sandpipers in Western Isles and County Donegal, White-winged Scoter in Lothian and White-billed Diver in Orkney. Scarcity highlights included a Barred Warbler, a Marsh Warbler, a Richard's Pipit, a Hoopoe, a Common Rosefinch, four Great Grey Shrikes, six Lapland Buntings, 12 Shorelarks, 96 Waxwings, two American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teal, five Ring-necked Ducks, a Todd's Canada Goose, 12 Glossy Ibises, a Red-necked Phalarope, three Grey Phalaropes, 70 Little Auks, two Sabine's Gulls, an Iceland Gull, two Glaucous Gulls, six Pomarine Skuas, a Balearic Shearwater, a Cory's Shearwater and 21 Great Shearwaters. |

| New discoveries today included a Red-flanked Bluetail at Ambergate, Derbyshire, an Olive-backed Pipit on St Mary's, Scilly, a Red-throated Pipit at Norby, Shetland, single Radde's Warblers at St Just, Cornwall and on Cape Clear, County Cork and a Dusky Warbler at Durlston, Dorset.
Lingering rarities included the Pied Wheater in Northumberland, Isabelline Wheatear and Arctic Warbler in County Cork, Penduline Tit in Scilly, Olive-backed Pipit in Shetland, two Pallid Swifts in Moray, Red-rumped Swallow in Yorkshire, Pallid Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Merseyside and Aberdeenshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in Western Isles and County Donegal, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Black Scoter in Northumberland and Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo. Scarcity highlights included a Melodious Warbler, Pallas's Warbler, a Marsh Warbler, a Little Bunting, a Hoopoe, three Wrynecks, five Great Grey Shrikes, six Lapland Buntings, nine Shorelarks, 47 Waxwings, two American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teal, six Ring-necked Ducks, a Snow Goose, four Taiga Bean Geese, 14 Glossy Ibises, six Little Auks, a Pectoral Sandpiper, six Grey Phalaropes, a Great Shearwater, a Cory's Shearwater, 51 Leach's Petrels, a Sabine's Gull, a Ring-billed Gull, an Iceland Gull, a Long-tailed Skua and 53 Pomarine Skuas. |

Discoveries today included an Isabelline Wheatear in Gwynedd at Uwchmynydd, an Arctic Warbler in County Cork at Knockadoon Head, and a Lesser Yellowlegs in Aberdeenshire at Loch of Strathbeg, with Pallid Swifts identified in Aberdeenshire, Highland, Lancashire, and Moray (2). On the Isles of Scilly Wilson's Snipe, Penduline Tit, Subalpine Warbler species, Melodious Warbler, and two Dusky Warblers were all on St Mary's, with Dusky Warbler and Pallas's Warbler together on St Agnes. Lingering rarities elsewhere comprised the Alpine Accentor, Pallid Harrier, and Long-billed Dowitcher all still in Norfolk, Pied Wheatear and Black Scoter in Northumberland, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Northern Harrier in County Offaly, Red-rumped Swallow in East Yorkshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Merseyside, Cackling Goose on the Western Isles, Ferruginous Duck in County Donegal, and White-rumped Sandpipers in County Donegal and Western Isles. |

The highlight of the day was the reappearance of the Alpine Accentor in Norfolk at Blakeney Point, whilst Pallid Swift reports today comprised singles in Angus, East Yorkshire, Kent, Lothian, Moray, Northumberland, Perth and Kinross, and Aberdeenshire. Discoveries included a Band-rumped Petrel species in Cornwall passing Lizard Point, a Pallid Harrier on the Isle of Wight at Fort Victoria, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Donegal at Inch Island Lake, Dusky Warbler on the Isles of Scilly on St Mary's, and on the Shetland Isles two Olive-backed Pipits on Mainland. Lingering rarities confirmed as present elsewhere were the Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Pied Wheatear in Northumberland, Pallid Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Blue-winged Teal in Lincolnshire, and Lesser Yellowlegs in both Merseyside and the Orkney Isles. |

The record influx of Pallid Swifts continued with 26 identified today comprising five in Northumberland, four in both Moray and North Yorkshire, three in Aberdeenshire and Angus, two in Norfolk, and singles in Cleveland, County Durham, East Yorkshire, Lothian, and Somerset. Other discoveries today included a Pied Wheatear in Northumberland at Whitley Bay, Olive-backed Pipit in Fife on the Isle of May, Red-rumped Swallow in East Yorkshire at Spurn, White-rumped Sandpiper on the Western Isles on Benbecula, and on the Isles of Scilly now two Red-throated Pipits together on St Mary's. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were both the Wilson's Snipe and Red-rumped Swallow on Scilly, Isabelline Wheatear in County Cork, Eastern Black Redstart on the Orkney Isles, Pallid Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Black Scoter and Subalpine Warbler species in Northumberland, Blue-winged Teal in Lincolnshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Merseyside. |

The influx of Pallid Swifts continued with 23 identified today comprising four in both Lothian and Northumberland, three together in Gloucestershire, two each in Cleveland, East Yorkshire, Fife, Moray, and Wirral, and singles in Lancashire and North Yorkshire. Other discoveries today included a Radde's Warbler in Dorset at Portland Bill, Olive-backed Pipits in Hertfordshire at Hatfield and on the Western Isles on Barra (2), a Black-winged Stilt in Kent at Dungeness, and on the Shetland Isles an Eastern Stonechat species at Spiggie, and a Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll in Lerwick. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were Alpine Accentor, Desert Wheatear, Pallid Harrier, and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Collared Pratincole in Gloucestershire, Red-throated Pipit and Red-rumped Swallow on the Isles of Scilly, Subalpine Warbler species and Eastern Stonechat species in Northumberland, Blue-winged Teal in Lincolnshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, King Eider in Lothian, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cleveland and Merseyside, and Lesser Scaup and Ferruginous Duck County Donegal. |

The highlight of the day was the discovery of another Alpine Accentor in East Anglia; on Blakeney Point, Norfolk. Discoveries elsewhere included a Little Swift in Somerset at Brean Down, a Red-flanked Bluetail on the Shetland Isles at Lerwick where it later died, a Radde's Warbler in County Waterford at Helvick Head, in Norfolk a Desert Wheatear at Cley and Pallid Harrier at Titchwell, whilst at least 19 Pallid Swifts were identified; in Cleveland, East Sussex, East Yorkshire (6), Lothian (4), North Yorshire (3), and Northumberland (4). Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were both the Wilson's Snipe and Red-rumped Swallow on the Isles of Scilly, Isabelline Wheatear in County Cork, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Black Scoter, Subalpine Warbler species, and Eastern Stonechat species in Northumberland, Collared Pratincole in Gloucestershire, Eastern Black Redstart on the Orkney Isles, another Pallid Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Hornemann's Arctic Redpolls on both Orkney and Shetland, Blue-winged Teal in Lincolnshire, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cleveland and Merseyside. On Shetland two Eastern Bar-tailed Godwits - of the form baueri or menzbieri - were discovered on Fair Isle. |
