Discoveries today included an Isabelline Wheatear in Gwynedd at Uwchmynydd, an Arctic Warbler in County Cork at Knockadoon Head, and a Lesser Yellowlegs in Aberdeenshire at Loch of Strathbeg, with Pallid Swifts identified in Aberdeenshire, Highland, Lancashire, and Moray (2). On the Isles of Scilly Wilson's Snipe, Penduline Tit, Subalpine Warbler species, Melodious Warbler, and two Dusky Warblers were all on St Mary's, with Dusky Warbler and Pallas's Warbler together on St Agnes. Lingering rarities elsewhere comprised the Alpine Accentor, Pallid Harrier, and Long-billed Dowitcher all still in Norfolk, Pied Wheatear and Black Scoter in Northumberland, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Northern Harrier in County Offaly, Red-rumped Swallow in East Yorkshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Merseyside, Cackling Goose on the Western Isles, Ferruginous Duck in County Donegal, and White-rumped Sandpipers in County Donegal and Western Isles. |
