New rarities today on Shetland included Blyth’s Reed Warbler, Laceolated Warbler, Olive-backed Pipit and three Great Snipe (2 on Fair Isle and one Foula). Elsewhere Bee-eaters in Dorset and Suffolk plus Arctic Warbler in County Donegal. Lingering rarities included Roller in Devon, Bonaparte’s Gull in Kent, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Louth, Red-footed Falcon in Lancashire, Brown Shrike in Aberdeenshire, Citrine Wagtail in East Yorkshire, Baird’s Sandpipers in County Waterford and Scilly |
