	Discoveries today included a Northern Brown Shrike in Aberdeenshire at Bullers of Buchan - the earliest autumn record by eleven days - a Blyth's Reed Warbler well inland in Northamptonshire at Stanford Reservoir, an Arctic Warbler on the Orkney Isles on Papa Westray, Greenish Warbler in East Yorkshire at Bempton Cliffs, and Baird's Sandpipers both in County Cork at Ballycotton and in County Waterford at The Cunnigar. On the Shetland Isles a Paddyfield Warbler and Red-backed Shrike on Fair Isle, a Blyth's Reed Warbler was new on Whalsay, King Eider on Yell, an Ortolan Bunting on Out Skerries, on the Mainland two Arctic Warblers, Citrine Wagtail, Little Bunting, and King Eider, with around the island totals of two Barred Warblers, three Yellow-browed Warblers, four Common Rosefinches, and 12 Wrynecks. Rarities elsewhere comprised the elusive Roller still in Devon, Baird's Sandpiper on the Isles of Scilly, White-spotted Bluethroat in Gloucestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Louth, Red-footed Falcons in both Lancashire and Norfolk, and Citrine Wagtails in County Cork, Cornwall, and East Yorkshire.
