  Fantastic seawatching today with single Fea's or Desertas Petrels passing Ventnor, Isle of Wight, and Cape Clear, County Cork, and around island totals of 1,616 Great Shearwaters, 1,603 Cory's Shearwaters, 17 Long-tailed Skuas, and six Sabine's Gulls.

New rarities discovered were, on the Shetland Isles a Booted Warbler at Sumburgh, with Arctic Warbler and Greenish Warbler both on Unst, in County Durham a Greenish Warbler at Whitburn, and on the Isles of Scilly a new Citrine Wagtail on Tresco.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were Paddyfield Warbler, Arctic Warbler, and King Eider on Shetland, Baird's Sandpiper on Scilly, Red-footed Falcons in Lancashire and Norfolk, Citrine Wagtail in East Yorkshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Louth, and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.
