  Rarities discovered today comprised a Paddyfield Warbler in Borders at Mire Loch, juvenile Red-footed Falcons in both Lancashire at Marton Mere and Suffolk at Southwold, and on the Shetland Isles now three Citrine Wagtails.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Eleonora's Falcon in Norfolk, Greater Sand Plover in Cleveland, Wilson's Phalarope on the Western Isles, Arctic Warbler in East Yorkshire, Greenish Warbler in Northumberland, two Blyth's Reed Warblers and a King Eider in Shetland, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Louth, Citrine Wagtails in East Yorkshire, Gwent, and Scilly, and Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire and Warwickshire (2).
