  Eight Wilson's Petrels were seen from a pelagic trip off the Isles of Scilly, along with around twenty each of Cory's and Great Shearwaters. Elsewhere, lingering rarities comprised the Turkestan Shrike and White-rumped Sandpiper in Yorkshire, Squacco Heron in Sussex, Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire and the families of Bee-eaters in Norfolk and Black-winged Stilts in Cheshire.

There were nine sighting of Cory's Shearwaters off the north east coast with a further bird off Cornwall. There were also five sightings of Great Shearwaters, from Borders, County Antrim, Cornwall and from the Scillonian as well as the Ullapool to Stornoway ferry. Both Icterine Warblers and Wrynecks were seen in Norfolk and Scilly. Spotted Crakes were in Yorkshire (2), Scilly (2), Somerset and Northumberland and there were three Pectoral Sandpipers, an American Golden Plover, a Purple Heron and a Night Heron
