| An Aquatic Warbler was at Nanjizal Valley, Cornwall, a Caspian Tern was at Breydon Water, Norfolk and nine Wilson's Petrels were seen from a pelagic off County Waterford, the first record for the county.
Lingering rarities included the Turkestan Shrike in Yorkshire, four Black-winged Stilts in Cheshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk, Squacco Heron in Sussex, Forster's Tern in County Louth, Bonaparte's Gulls in Argyll and Kent, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, eight Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Pied-billed Grebe in Argyll, Black Duck in County Mayo, Ferruginous Ducks in Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire and three Wilson's Petrels were seen from the Scilly pelagic. Scarcity highlights included a Barred Warbler, two Icterine Warblers, four Wrynecks, six Spotted Crakes, a Night Heron, a Purple Heron, 16 Glossy Ibises, an American Golden Plover, a Pectoral Sandpiper, a Dotterel, a Tundra Bean Goose, two Sabine's Gulls, a Long-tailed Skua, four Pomarine Skuas, 135 Cory's Shearwaters and 136 Great Shearwaters. |
