  Discoveries today included a Gull-billed Tern in Lincolnshire at Baston and Langtoft, and a White-rumped Sandpiper at Collessie, Fife.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross still together in East Yorkshire, the Least Tern still in County Dublin, Elegant Tern in County Galway, Stilt Sandpiper in Lincolnshire, Caspian Terns in both Cleveland and Gloucestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.

Scarcities included Purple Heron (Anglesey), three Pectoral Sandpipers (Cumbria, Fife, Merseyside), and a total of 13 Glossy Ibises
