  New discoveries today today included a White-rumped Sandpiper at Snettisham RSPB, Norfolk and a Bonaparte's Gull at Oare Marshes KWT, Kent.

Lingering rarities still present included the Turkestan Shrike, Black-browed Albatross and six Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire, Elegant Tern and Pacific Golden Plover in County Wexford, Broad-billed Sandpiper in Shetland, five Bee-eaters in Norfolk and American Black Tern in Northumberland.

Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, an American Golden Plover, a Cory's Shearwater, a Sabine's Gull, a Glaucous Gull, a Night Heron, ten Glossy Ibises and a Ring-necked Duck.
