  New discoveries today included a Bee-eater at Monkseaton, Northumberland and a Savi's Warbler in Kent.

Lingering rarities included the Turkestan Shrike, Black-browed Albatross, Caspian Tern, Ferruginous Duck and six Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire, Great Reed Warbler in Nottinghamshire, Great Reed Warbler and six Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, King Eider in Lothian, Caspian Tern in Cleveland and American Black Tern in Northumberland.

Scarcity highlights included a Serin, an American Golden Plover, a Temminck's Stint, two Honey Buzzards, a Surf Scoter, an American Wigeon, 13 Glossy Ibises, a Pomarine Skua and two Glaucous Gulls.
