  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Caspian Tern in Cleveland at Dorman's Pool.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross together in East Yorkshire, Caspian Tern in Nottinghamshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, territorial Great Reed Warblers in both Norfolk and Nottinghamshire, White-spotted Bluethroat in Gloucestershire, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, King Eider on the Shetland Isles, the family of six Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire, and Bee-eaters in Lancashire and Norfolk (5).

Scarcities included American Golden Plover (County Wexford), Great Shearwater (Orkney Isles), and three Glossy Ibises (Cleveland).
